For several years, SCWA sponsored grants for the Quittapahilla Watershed Association:
| Restoration and Management Plan - Beginning in 2001 with a DEP Growing Greener Grant, Clear Creeks Consulting in association with Skelly & Loy, Inc. defined watershed characterization to create a Natural Stream Channel design through gauge calibration, geomorphic mapping, maps, and water quality modeling. | |
| Hammer Creek - Consists of 9916' of stream bank fencing, cattle crossings, and planting of trees and shrubs for riparian buffer near Schaefferstown. | |
| Little Swatara Creek - Consists of 14000' of stream bank fencing, cattle crossings, and planting of trees and shrubs for riparian buffer near Jonestown. |
