This publication details the chemical changes to Swatara Creek due to the installation of several limestone-based treatment systems, including an anoxic limestone drain (ALD), an oxic limestone drains (OLDs), an open limestone channel, limestone diversion wells, lime and limestone sand applications, and constructed wetlands. The paper describes each type of treatment and details the impact that each has had on the watershed.
