Watermelon at the Water Works On July 30, 2003, volunteers helped to pick up litter from the banks of Swatara Creek at the Water Works Canoe Launch in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County. From thickets of jaggy multi-flora rose and poison ivy, 46 tires, a Formica counter top, insulation, and various odds and ends were collected. Brian at Ketterings received the tires. Helping were: Nancy, David & Sheldon Frey, John Worrilow, Jo Ellen Litz, Tom Embich, Lloyd Hartman, Don, Eric, & Alex Mock, Bob Arnold, Gerald Johnston, and Chuck Wertz.
